International Women’s Day
As I sit here, home sick from work, but still scrolling my social media, I am continuously reminded of the significance of this day.
International Women’s Day.
A day to celebrate every woman, past, present and future, who has walked this earth, who has contributed what she knows to our Universe.
I cannot stop thinking of how lucky I am as a woman today.
How lucky we all are that we live in a free society. Free to be whomever we chose, free to do the work we love, free to love the people we love, free to live in a place that is loved, and free to live freely!
Each woman before us has paved this road so we may contribute to this Universe.
We are strong, we are fierce, we reach for what we believe in, with passion and strength.
We give life to this planet.
We, Women, are what makes this world go ‘round.
To all my soul sisters who have paved the way before me, I am so incredibly proud of the work you have done. I am so incredibly grateful to you for showing the world who we are, and who we can be, so that on this day, I can be who I am.
To all my soul sisters who are rising with me today, I am grateful for your teachings, your contributions, and your soul.
For all my future soul sisters, don’t forget where we came from, where You came from and who You are, and never give up on your dreams, they could save the world!
Totally just had deja-vu moment typing this!
I am proud to be the woman you see (or read) today.
All the trials and tribulations in my life have brought me here, have prepared me for this moment.
I have chosen this journey to learn from. All the success and all the lessons, I take with me as knowledge into tomorrows adventures.
I am a strong successful woman, and I am proud to be a part of this Universe, a part of this Community, and a part of this Sisterhood.
Thank you Soul Sisters, keep on shining!
